A capybara desktop pet that actually does things

Why a capybara?

Capybaras are the internet's favourite relaxed animal: unbothered, friendly and happy to sit next to anything. That is exactly the energy you want in the corner of a busy screen. This capybara never nags, never blocks your work and only reacts when you do something.

Meet him

He is drawn on a tiny 30 by 36 pixel grid, with a leafy carrot balanced on his head. His eye follows your cursor and he turns to face whichever side it is on. Click him for a squeak and a hop. Stroke his head back and forth with the mouse and he purrs, with hearts floating up and a blush on his cheek.

A full set of animations

• Follows and faces your cursor
• Types along on a tiny two-button keyboard
• Overheats and steams if you type too fast
• Stretches like mochi when dragged, gets dizzy when shaken
• Unrolls a paper strip when you scroll
• Holds a phone and sweats while an AI agent works, hops when it finishes
• Gets drowsy, yawns and falls asleep when you step away
• Grows tall and yawns to remind you to stretch

Make him your own

Pick any fur colour and cheek colour, choose classic patches, plain or freckles, and set his size. Give him your name and he will use it in reminders. Like many people, you may want the capybara that matches the one in your life: the playground on the home page lets you try every colour in your browser.

A desktop pet with a job

Beyond being charming, he is useful: stretch and water reminders, a Pomodoro timer that floats beside him, timed messages, a pinned note, and notifications for AI coding agents such as Claude Code. He is available for Mac and Windows.
